"WildRed" Group of Companies has been announced as the "Local CATV services" Official Supplier for the Olympic Winter Games. The deal was agreed by the President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko, and the General director of "WildRed” management company - OOO "New Media Legends" Group of Companies, Ruslan Kuzminov. According to the agreement, "WildRed" Group of Companies will introduce a Community Area Television Network (CATV) at the Games for around-the-clock broadcast feeds produced by the Olympic Broadcasting Services, Host Broadcaster of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
The cable television network for the distribution of broadcast feeds will provide services at 25 Games venues, including all Olympic venues, the training arenas, Main Media Center and Gorki Media Center, the Olympic Village, the IOC hotels and the Olympic Family Hotels.
Specialists at "WildRed" Group of Companies will install the hardware and software packaging that will receive the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) signal. The "Special CATV", providing 24/7 coverage at the Games venues, will also include 15 leading Free-to-air TV channels, as well as the 20 Sochi 2014 dedicated feeds including the Olympic News Channel of the Olympic Broadcasting Services.
At the sports venues, 5,000 televisions sets will be connected to the digital signal and journalists and staff at the Games venues will be able watch Olympic sports broadcasts.
The President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko, emphasized:
"WildRed will develop the CATV network, one of the most important elements of the Games, which will link the Olympic venues and provide 24-hour coverage originated from of Olympic Broadcasting feeds. The company's specialists will be responsible for the set up and constant running of the cable network. Thanks to the network, journalists, visitors and Games' staff will be able to follow all the Olympic competitions online and stay up-to-date with the latest events”.
The General Director of "New Media Legends", Ruslan Kuzminov, commented:

IOC TOP Partners are companies that have entered into an agreement with the IOC for a four-year cycle. Also, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee offers several levels of partnership in the Sochi 2014 Marketing Program, concluding agreements with Partners for the right to be associated with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi in Russia.
